theadless headsets spin faster and smoother than threaded ones, and later on down the road when you get threadless forks you wont have to get a new headset cause you already got one. But idt u should spend 30$ for a headset, your rup headset isn't that bad, i would say its about the same speed wize as threadless headsets like the fsa pig.
What to do: Your rup will not break, trust me and don't be worried if it does, it will happen eventually, most likely the bars will break if anything, not the deck, and the wheels will definitely break or dehub, so get some blunt metalcores, they're only 50$ for a pair and will make your scooter feel better to ride on and do tricks. After that i would say get Proto SCS and a threadless headset, NOTE
to other riders too) You do not need threadless forks to run scs, thats just what companies want you to think so you spend more money on scooter parts check out ace of spades rup sometime, it is super dialed and has proto scs with rup forks. Anyways, after that you will be set for a while, I would spray your bars(rustoleum spraypaint), and get new grips and griptape if you havent already.
In all youve spent 150$ and have a pretty sick scooter
