Rust?

Is this rust or is it just the flash on the bars?

they are brand new i clear coated them right when i got them and havent used them

It only showed in one picture

you cant see it in day light

the pictures were taken right after another and you cant even see anything except for in the picture. i think its just the flash

i know i took like 20 pictures and it only looked rusty on one of the settings which made it flash really bright

If you touched them with your hands before you clearcoated it, then it's rust. You have oils in your hands that cause QUICK rust on steel. Before you clearcoated them, you should have whipped them CLEAN of any moisture, oils, dirt, whatever, then put on gloves before you made any contact with them.

i only touched them where the grips are and a little in the middle but not the whole thing

i think its just the reflection of the flash because it only can be seen with one setting on the camera

and it wouldnt be from that because i wouldnt have touched every square millimeter of the bars

You might not remember doing it, but you probably ran your hands along the steering column. The flash is just penetrating the clear coat or whatever and showing you what's underneath. It's not a huge deal, rust is rust.

no its not rust because in the first picture the BLACK odi's are brownish. so i think that the flash made it a weird color.
its not rust so dnt worry
