scooter deck vs skate truck

At woodward PA we weren't allowed to ride the target plaza. Their pitiful reason was that the scooters would destroy the ledges while grinding. if they do accept scooters again next year, i am thinking trying to get the scooters into that park. while there may be circumstances around riding it, general access to it is my goal.

Here i ask you, are scooter decks made from the same material as skate trucks? Do they cause the same damage to the ledge? are the ledges even in danger?

Post up your answers and post up GOOD THOUGHTFUL reasons as to why scooter riders should be allowed into the target plaza for 2013 camp sessions.

I hate this so goddamn much, fucking people that run skateparks know nothing. I'm speaking in general about skateparks that don't allow scooters because of this particular reason

Some concrete parks don't let scooters in because of kids scraping there decks against the bank and it wrecks it and makes big holes in it.

yes, skateboard truck and scooter decks are both made of aluminum, and they do the same amount of damage to ledges as skateboards do.

do they allow bikes in there? because they do way more damage than anything.

In my opinion it's a legitimate ruler under certain circumstances. scooters shouldn't be allowed to have pegs if the park owners are anal about it, but a scooter without pegs wont do any more damage then skateboard trucks.

Moral of the story is you should ride plastic pegs hahahaha

with the wider deck, the scooter will not cause as much direct impact on the ledge as skateboard trucks will. If the ledge is waxed enough nothing will really harm it except a bike peg
