Scooter haters... What is their complex? Lets discuss.

I'm sure you guys have heard scooters accused of being "gay" many times by kids who think they are "reppin" skateboarding or bmx. I'm wondering if any of you have ever had experiences with these kids in person, and if so what did you do? Or what is your opinion in general of the complex that causes people to feel the need to hate on what they don't relate to? Go.

Half of the time, everyone that rides bikes just call me a ------. They say, "scooters take no skill... theres no muscle involved, scooters weigh nothing, your just a tool"

I usually just laugh and say its because youve never riden one, or just put it more towards the fact of it being of mix of BMX and skating...

around where i live and parks like monster it isnt really the older riders that everyone hates. more like the younger ones that don't know the rules and ethics of the park. you know like the 8 - 12 year olds that just ride, no tricks, nothing, just snaking. hell even i hate em.
but yeah as long as you don't snake them they're usually pretty cool

i agree with tyler...but i usually listen to music when i ride at a park so people can talk shit all they want and i dont do anything but if i hear them and they are just a little fuckin shit head kid i will get in his face and stuff and he goes away and tells all his friends and they just stare me down but its funny because they dont do shit
