Scooter on a airplane

I was wondering if you can bring scooters on the airplane my mom works for delta and my dad works for the tsa and they are unsure so has anyone brought a scooter on the airplane are there any special rules about taking the bars off

im sure you would have to take the bars off. cause the rules probably would say if it can fold it up and put it near you. i always just take bars off and put them in my bag of clothes

I did you just need to take a back pack where it fits all the way, or almost all the way inside.

When I travel, I put mine in a huge suitcase and pack clothes around it. I ride a 21 inch deck and 23H x 20W set of bars, too.

Or you just don't take apart you scooter at all and put a tag on it and give it to them

where do u put ur deck i was thinking how puting my deck in my back pack and my bars in a suit case or if possible straped on the skate straps on my back pack

I just check my whole scooter when I fly with it.

in new zealand and australia you have to put it on some big ass plastic bag but then its ok, it just goes with oversized baggage

Im flying to Ohio Dreams on Sunday morning. I think I'm just gonna take off my bars and fit everything in a big suitcase. But that means I probably wont be able to bring my 22 wide raderalls . I'll just have to deal with the 20w T's.

I bet you could try an put you clothes on one side and the lay you bars so they would be tilted.

I always just put it in my suitcase with my bars off. It usually fits quite snug. Im leaving for Ohio dreams in like 2 weeks, i already know TSA is gonna search my suitcase which pisses me off.
