Scootering not a word

So every time I type the word scootering online, it comes up with an underline underneath the words cuz it thinks i spealt it wrong. If i did, then please correct me, but i think its just a matter of them not having it in the dictionary yet. I have a couple of contacts that can hook this up for me, what do you think?

Well the wikipedia article is called Scootering, but i doubt it's an official word

Yea I read the wikipedia article, but wikipedia has alot of things and not all of them make sense so its not a real legit source for information at all.

So with that said, I already emailed two of the people that I know that would possibly be able to make it an official word. I mean, skating is so why can scootering?

to scooter is to be scootering.
to scooter is a transitive verb
which i think means you dont change it to apply it to an object
as a noun it becomes scooterist its in the dictionary but its considered wrong on my browser.

you scoot
you scooter
you are a scooterist
you are a scooter rider
you are going to go scooter
you are going to go ride
you are a pro scooter rider.

you scootered

scoot means to go somewhere quickly has nothing to do with scooter.
but scooter is the device that helps you to scoot. it scoots you along. it is a scooter.
