idk if this was a thread already but please dont lock if it was iam srry , let this be a healthy thread .
basically talk about how scooter riding changed your life in any way , like if it wasn't for scooters were would u be right now ?


scooters changed my life a whole lot i can honestly say because if it wasn't for scooters id probably be hanging out with the wrong crowd still getting in trouble , maybe even smoking an drinking an just f'effin my life up, but since scooter riding has came in ive been a better person my grades are alot better and i have alot more fun cause iam doing somthing that i love , going to the skate park and just riding with friends has been keeping me out alot of trouble and iam stress free , soo i can honestly say that scooters has had a strong and positive impact on my life in a big way !! and iam greatfull for it

Since ive started scooter riding:
i started smoking
i started drinking
i started getting worse grades
i lost some friends who thought it was gay

...well shit. Good thing i love riding. hahaha

I started scootering senior year. My best friend and myself were watching zoolander or something and saw Hansel and his scooter. We thought it was probably the funniest thing we had ever seen so went and bought some A1 kick scooters at Toys R Us. Of course we went through LIKE 9 a piece. But Toys R US kept giving us replacements under there warrany [haha 1 warranty with like 9 new free scooters].

At first we just rode around... To school. Through school. To parties. Just went EVERYWHERE with them. People loved it and it started to catch on. We started slowly easing into tricks but it was never about the tricks.

It was about our friendship, about how these things brought us together. I think a lot of the "Razor Crusaders." or people who want to join [Its getting huge in my home town] don't get that it was originally just two best friends wanting to have fun and be original.

Yeah I ride a little more tricks now than I used to. But scootering has always and will always be about friendship.

I don't ride unless I'm with my friends.

I was totally kidding btw hahahaha.
It has put me on a good path. kept me outa trouble, made me some friends, and given me a thing to do in my free time. sure, its not my main focus at all but man do i love it. And it has got me hooked on listening to music

Whats funny is i ride with almost no one, like at least 97% of my riding is alone. Thats why i love my ipod.

yea scooters is really big in my hometown thanx to the og's scoo york and others honestly if it wasn't for them i dont think i would had never picked up a scooter ,

yea thats all u really need is an ipod or mp3 of some sort and just flow just ride and dont worry about being like the next rider or how many tail whips or bri combos u kan do just express yourself wen u riding and most importantly just have fun an be yourself . :)

I woundn't say it keeps me out of trouble. Cause i would prolly be more likely to smoke/drink now then if i wasnt riding.

but idk. i guess it changed my life. I wouldnt be doing anything if i didnt ride.

wel juss like the first post keeps me outta truble except my parents hate im on sr 24/7, im failing outta 7th grade, i always buy new parts,i ride alone but i still get into truble cuz i get thrown outta spots 24/7 in my neighborhood

it was probably one of the better things in life that happened to me. i cant ride unless my grades are good so that helps and it built up my confidence and made me friends. i i have to thank Ant Irrizzary for getting me started. i love the sport and will continue riding.
