SCS, Baby SCS, ICS, or HIC

Which should I get?

SCS - very simple compression, also looks sweet. $75.00 shipped.
BABY SCS - not as simple as the scs, because you have to trim your fork. $80.00 shipped.
ICS and HIC- pretty cheap, simple. $6.00 - $20.00 not to bad.

Personally I'd get scs.

all work good scs looks sweet and makes it pretty easy but personal choice scs makes it heavier than ics or hic baby scs works the same but u have to cut your fork down and buff bars or oversized bars wont fit baby scs

It really depends on what your budget is, what parts you already have and what parts you plan on getting... The SCS are the most universally compatible compression system but there are still decent alternatives if you are not ready to invest in something like that just yet.

its like an scs but the bars clamp on to the compression instead of them going inside the scs

Personally I'd get scs.

Baby scs is even simpler than scs. no shim. You dont need to trim your fork. You could also use a headset spacer instead. Then you wouldnt need to cut your bars so much either.

OMG GET THE SCS. i just got it this morning, and the only semi complicated part was getting the bars with the shim into the top half of the knuck. otherwise, the compression part of it was done in less than a minute!!! it was SOOO EASY, i am just stoked right now hahaha. the reason the bars were prolly tough was kuz i just painted them the other day and didnt wanna fuck up the paint job, but its still shweet. check the sotm and look for yourselves

get the scs, its soooo easy. i got it for christmas and i installed it in like 2 mins. it also looks sweet. it does make it a lil heavier but it doesnt bother me, youll get used to it
