got tilt forks, and running them with my proto...i noticed that when i slide on my scs onto my forks, its sooo easy to go on, and wobbles a little bit, and after tightening and getting my bars on, its like immediately loose! any ideas to make it tighter against my forks!? i sanded down the paint off the end of my bars to make it try and work better, but it still seems really loose on my forks...

I had tilt forks, and an scs, didn;t have that problem. Um, try Loctite'ing the top cap? I only had a problem with the scs turning when i would tighten the top cap.

is the shim on the bars or forks? because i think you streched the bottom part. Its easy to fix though.

This has never happened with me... Id say just try cranking down harder and make sure you tighen them all evenly.

Did you get normal tilt forks or mgp sized ones? Take a picture of how you have it set up, That might help us better understand

BEADY!
do u tighten your scs top to bottom then back up, tightening each one evenly if not then this may solve your problem
