I got myself banned.
my year and a half old mgp threaded fork finally bent so its time to step it up and go threadless. soon ill be getting a tilt fork w/ proto baby scs to go on my non integrated district. i realize i need to cut my bars (standard size grit batwings) 1.5 inches but the slit on them are about 3 inches and i really dont want to use spacers. i was thinking i could just cut about 3 inches off an old fork and use them inside my bars where it's being clamped. this way the slit can not compress very much if at all... would that work?
