I was thinking about buying an SCS but i have FID forks and i have heard tht becuase they are not pinned the SCS can break the forks. i have also heard tht the FID forks now come pinned. i bought mine about 2n half to 3 months ago so im not sure weather they are pinned or not. how would you tell? because i dont wanna buy an SCS n then pull ma forks apart. comments appricated thks.

Usaually they don't come pinned... Unless you have bought it from the SR shop. The SCS is not breaking it.. because it has the ecsact same pulling motion as inverted compression systems. But i recomend you pinning it. It is not that big of a deal...

Do like this if you want to pin it;)

The French ID fork is one of the top forks out there today. Its light, beautiful, and strong.
It has all the characteristics a fork should have and then some......

Specs:
- One piece CNC machined design for optimum strength.
- Anodised black with laser etched French ID logo.
- Supplied with stainless steel axle and bolts.
- Weight: 260g

Issues:
There has been some upcoming issues with the fork. Sadly we have discovered that the
legs and fork tube are "glued" together instead of welded. This has created a problem
with SCS users because after a couple of months the SCS "pulls" the fork-tube and legs
apart. Thus breaking the fork.

Please say how your FrID Fork experience has gone.
