This is all the info you will need for the second annual San Diego Freestyle Scooter competition of 2007:
NOTE: Not all the info is available yet but will be updated over the course of the next month after I meet with the park director BUT the dates are set in stone so start making plans!

Date: Saturday, December 29 OR Sunday, December 30 ONLY IF Saturday gets rained out. Southern California is a relatively dry place but having an OUTDOOR competition here this late in the year can be risky which is why we allot 2 consecutive days in case the weather gives us problems. Last year we were able to have the competition on Saturday and had a full day of practice the Friday before without any weather issues.
Time:
Classes: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced & Best Trick
Runs: Everyone will have 3 x 60 second runs.
Rules: You will be scored on your 2 highest scoring runs with your lowest being dropped. At the end of each run you will have an optional 10 seconds to do ONE final trick.
Judges: There will be 3 judges per class.

Judging Criteria: Style (20%), Consistency (20%), Amplitude (20%), Originality (20%) and Difficulty (20%)
Accommodations:
Sponsors: Sponsorship is voluntary but encouraged. Anything DONATED is greatly appreciated. Sponsors bringing riders to the comp still have to pay the set entry fee for your riders on top of any donations you volunteer to give.

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 finishers in all 3 categories as well as best trick and hardest fall.
