I'm 18, had a job, go to college, and go out nightly. Shits great, riding is relaxing and keeps me in shapeish,

Usually by the time people reach 18 they're mature enough to not give a shit that they ride scooters, and not care what people think of them.
if you're really that self-conscious about it, then you may as well.

Connor has a point, if I were you I would continue though. Maybe not as often if you start going to college but definitely don't quit something that makes you happy and that you enjoy doing?

im one of the two scooters in my town. and people think its sooo stupid. i just keep riding and ignore it. just keep riding age has nothing to do with it. plus, who really cares if people think its stupid. you should not quit

See. you're already in the wrong because you're asking on a scooter forum, but I'll give you an unbiased answer.

What's wrong with this world (not making a joke) is that there will always be haters. People who will hate on what you're doing or who you are when it has no negative effect on them or anyone else (if there's any effect at all.) People will hate on others orientation, their nationality, the hobbies they have, the clothes they wear, etc. At 18 years old, the irony is that you shouldn't be worrying what people think of you riding a scooter at 18, but should be old enough to realize none of those things matter. People's opinions can be considered, and may have relevance, but often are just opinions and aren't important. If it makes YOU happy, why does anything else matter? You're not hurting anyone. That rule should be applied to everything. At my age now, I realize I'll dress how I want, think what I want, and do what I want because I'm trying to please myself, not entertain the world. As long as I'm semi-productive and not fucking society, nothing I do should matter to anyone else, and to the people that it does, it doesn't matter to me, because those people don't matter.

Pretty much every single person I know (riding and non-riding) i've actually met through scooters in some way. I'm 20, still ride 3-4 times a week and love every second of it. You grow up, realise that you do what you do because you love it, and people yelling shit at you from cars isn't going to change that fact.
