Snowboard deck

Ive heard someone tried take their old snowboard and carve it out like a scooter deck, and put it on their scooter. It should be light and hold very well. Have anyone tried this?

Yes maybe, idk to replace it or just to put it on the real deck, but then it would be a big deck.

Edit: to replace the deck, with just one "plate" of a snowboard will not hold anything, but ^ will hold i think.

same, surely that makes no difference to the scooter at all, just adds weight and is less grippy???

the scoot deck on the bottom so it can grind pretty well...

Oooh i get what he means, like its like a better deck, has more grip, i think, but yeah, whats the point in doing that, really theres no point, its not going to improve your tricks or anything, would proberly be harder if you dont stick it on properly!! Ne ways i pretty sure most people are happy with the way there scooters are!!

something tells me that wouldn't be happening. anyway i would say stick with the deck how it is, unless you are doing it how Jimmy explained, like taking out the forks and using it as a snow scoot that way.

EDIT: from the picture you put on here rasmus, im thinking you mean to like put on a sheet of snowboard where your griptape would go... that sounds pointless but give it a shot if you want to

I dont, if you look at his picture that he put up, it looks like hes saying to put the snowboard, in the shape of the scooter deck ONTOP of the deck...

I dont mean a snow scooter, I just thougt that it maybe could make the deck stronger. I dont think snowboard would break that easy as a deck.
