I have realized that most "sucky" or "nonexperienced" bikers like to make fun of scooters. But then the "good" or "experienced" bikers give scooter riders some respect. I really dont get this, anyone know why?

yeah, most bikers that i have talked to to think that scootering is tight. they give me a lot of props.

but, mountain bikers that i talk to think that it is gay.

Because more expreienced bikers have seen more experienced scooterers and less experienced bikers have sen less (if any) experienced scooterers because they havent been around for long.
And mountainbikers are just gay, lol.

bmx'ers like us more than MTB at our park that is why whenever we see one we yell at them "go back to the mountains" lol sorry chad.

And it happens with skaters, like the ones who comment in youtube sayin shit have got vids of them doing kickflip attempts, lmao.

dont worry i am used to it. i get so much shit around here.
i have almost gotten into so much fights because of people that suck at skateing and they get pissed because i show them up on a scooter.

maybe its because the newer bikers are mad that they still suck. and its the same with skaters, usually its the ones that arent so good that hate scooters. but then again the really good skaters think they are too cool for scooters.

but in the end who cares what people think about you, cause if you did care you wouldnt be riding a scooter

At my local some Bmxers are like "scooters are gay and shit" but the others are chill with scooters and even try and have a go.. Idk it just depends on the person really

yeah, around here, all the bikers suck, i mean, we don't have a park, so the most you'll find them doing is a wheelie down the street, and riding around, so, they can't do anything, so yeah, they make fund of the scooter kids....is it just where i live, or did everyone switch to bmx from boards?

like even the non athletic kids now have bikes so they can ride around

yeah, they just travel around in groups and just sit there, and maybe jump around, and then call me a homo and shit cause they think scooters are gay

Scooters don't have the amount of exposure BMX or skating does. People think we are weird, because we don't do what they do. We are different from them, and they think different isn't good. Some BMXers, just like some skaters, have respect for us because they don't see what they do as the "best" thing. They don't think everybody should be doing what they do. A lot of people in both other sports think this, and they usually are the younger kids. All three sports (skating, BMX, scootering) are not very a like. Yes, BMX is comparable to scootering, but not really. They all have there differences and none can me harder or better than another. It's an opinion, and opinions mean nothing unless supported by facts.

yeah you are right.
when a lot of people think of scootering they think of little kids on new A models.

but it kind of isnt that bad of a thing that we get made fun of. because it proves that we are in it for the sport. unlike some skater just skate to be "cool"

at my local almost every1 scooters so i dont really get made fun of or anything and all the bmxers are cool with scooters unless its like the 5 year old kids that just run around and always hit ppl
