Some peg question. Please read.I don't think it should be locked.

I have read the scooter super mod thread by Brian Boston. I need to know the size. In Metric. I am ordering online thats why.My hardware stores here don't have them.

So may I please know the length, and the thickness? Please. Thanks

What length to you need to know about pegs?
If you wanna make pegs, make them as long as you want.

If you meant the foldy actually then just use 70mm long bolts with 8mm diameter and add some 24mm-diameter washers for 8mm bolts and use some nice nuts with rubber so they won't get loose.

Inch and centimeter conversion:
1" = 2,54cm = 25,4mm
If you don't know how to calculate, then use this calculator

I'm gonna lock this when you get all the information you need about inch/metric conversion. Feel free to ask more info.

Okay so I think you answered 1 of my questions. The answer is the diameter of the threaded part is 8mm thick right? In other words, the hole in the middle of bearings has a inner diameter of 8 right?
My friend said that for the front, the best is 4 bearing peg because if its more, tailwhips and barspins and others are impossible.

I tried a bolt and put a bearing in it at the back. The first bearing was touching the deck and not going in. Thats no problem right?I can just add alot of washers till the bearings have some space between the deck right?

Okay after I got all my answers, you can lock it.

Oi John, wouldn't B&Q have the bolts? There's one in Suzhou which has heaps of shit so if you ever go that way have a look... I've got pegs on my scoot, have a look if u haven't seen them in the Your Scooter #3 i think, its on one of the last few pages... i think.

B&Q?wtf. Are you sure?Wheres that?Lol kidding. Shanghai has a few but I forgot where. How about HomeMart?Err I don't know grr.LEmme go find a B and Q Oh fuck I know wheres thaT!ITs a freaking place which sells toilets, beds, home shit but never seen screwz anyway, lemme go check.

my size socket is 5/8" and i use the thread i cut off a bolt that has a loop on the end. like 1mm bigger so it is perfect, for a front peg anyway. the thing i cut it off was like 80c so yeh... not complainin

i have one picture of my peg on the scooter...

Basically I took a 5/8" socket and put it aside.
Then theres a bolt thing, not sure what its called but its like a thread then an O shape at the top

8 mm is too small, it wobbles loads!

Then whats the right size? Do you have proper bearing peg bolts?I can't find them here. I can trade you like 4 bearings or something.

just go to the hardware store. use a measurment and work it out yourself. thats the way i do most of my things dude.

seriously you shouldn't have to depend on other people to give you things, just go out and buy them there like $2-$3 each...

It would be nice if you could read what I said right at the top of this thread. I said I am buying it online because I have checked hardware store and none of them sell the size I need. Thanks for trying to help me but atleast read it again. Thanks!

Sorry for lashing out like that but yes, i did need to read it again but because you said 'metric' I thought you meant the socket...
