speed holes in forks?

do you think it is a good idea to have speed holes in forks? i mean in between the two headset bearings (inside the headtube) as forks never break there. post your thoughts please

no fucking way. it'll buff the stregth down to 0


try to bend a alu tube & then one with holes in it

however i have never seen that part of the fork snap, i believe that it is not subject to much pressure


also another thought is instead of doing holes just sand down the diameter, a little bit like ethic have done on the new merrow v2.
