yes it is a sponsor.
BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!! theres a big difference between flow am and pro. seems like ive posted how this goes quite alot
flow- it means like they hook you up with parts when you really need um and you hang with the team, you rep the company as hard as you can blah blah. you dont really get flown to contests, dont gotta film video parts (most of the time). all you really gotta do is rep as hard as you can and film web edits
am- am is a big step up from flow cuz am riders get to go on the trips, film video parts, sometimes go to contests and shit. how you go from am to pro is pretty much by doing really good in contests and or dropping a dopeeee ass video part. there are alot of am riders that go from am to pro right after a sick video drops. am is pretty much you just waiting to be pro, if you ready for it. am's that go pro to quick usually fade out of the scence and shit. thats why alot of am riders stay at that status for so long
pro- dont really need to explain this one.
thats how it works in the bmx industry, or to the best of my knowledge. hope that helped a lil bit
