Loop'd is a cool social networking website where athletes join to start or further their career in action spots. Companies recruit athletes through this website. Its a convenient way for athletes to grow their personal image.
About Loop'd:
"You ride, skate, surf and drive. Pros, Ams, and fans alike, we've got a unique way to plug you into your favorite sports. We also give you exposure to the best brands that deliver the gear you want and reflect the lifestyle you lead. The Loop'd Network is the largest online network for your sports.
A Place for Athletes to...
Show your skills - Create a custom profile that highlights your sports lifestyle and accomplishments. Share with friends or promote yourself across the web.
Connect with Members - Connect with friends and meet other people that are into your sports. Find places, events and organizations to get involved with.
Connect with Brands - Hook up with the brands that support your lifestyle. Apply for sponsorship, join communities, enter contests and become a brand ‘insider’.
Get Deals - Connect with Brands or check out the "Hook-Ups" to get exclusive deals on products. Enter contests to win free stuff."
When you create an account you choose your sport. They have skateboarding, BMX, snowboarding, surfing, etc., but not scootering.

Organizations, and I guess companies as well, can request competitive sports to be added. If you're a organization or a company please request scootering to be added as a sport. You can do that here.

If you are a sponsored rider please tell those who you represent to request scootering as a sport.
If Loop'd adds scootering as a sport I can see more big companies closely tied to other action sports such as skateboarding and BMX get involved with scootering. And, there are TONS of members. More people will learn about this great sport. Also, scootering companies will be able to join Loop'd and create their own profile. I believe this will help pave the way for the growth of this sport. I know you all want scootering on Fuel TV, scootering in big magazines, and contest coverage on TV.
Thanks.
