I used to have Proto grippers, and once they started to dehub they began squeaking as the loose urethane would squish against the core every time I rolled over the spot that was dehubbed. I rode them like this for 2 months after, and got so sick of it I bought some river rapids in hopes it wouldn't happen again.
Now, a week after riding the rivers, they are starting to dehub in a spot on the back wheel and are already starting to make the annoying squeak noise even though I am a smaller rider and I am not sketchy at all... my question is am I just cursed or does this happen to everyone and is there a way to stop it? I've tried super glue lol...
Luckily I kept the receipt for the warranty on the rivers for when they actually break (a week? come on! )
Also, it is not a bearing problem. I have changed my bearings about a million times.
