Why a longer ssteer tube?! well wait..yeah it would help, but the bracket across the bottom..or dropout on the fork will be beefier, since that is like the only damn flaw in the whole fork haha

I own SR.
The steering column will be about 1 inch taller for deeper insertion into the bars and better clamping.

The steering column tubing will also be thicker to prevent bending like some people have experienced.

Both points exactly what i wanted it to be. Then the steerer tube would be possilby as strong as my half-custom threadless fork's tube i made for emergency. It has chromoly tubing, SR has mild steel right?

I thought the change was to fit 125mm wheels to the SR forks. Because a longer tube would make the spot where you put the wheel go down so that you could fit bigger wheels

Only the steerer tube is longer, not the little side pipes.
