Tailwhip

I have a question.....I have a model A2 Razor scooter and I was wondering if tailwhippiing is easier on a Razor Pro Model or not. And I need some advice on tailwhipping also, when I go and try to kick the deck around I always have my feet on the ground right before the deck gets there....should I kick it harder and try to spin it faster or should I try to reach out for the deck. Thanks. =D

How much easier by a lot or only a small amount. I am gonna get a Pro eventually and I was wondering if I should try to do it on the A2 model or just wait to get my Pro.

Basically the only scooter that's worth buying is the pro model. New A scooters seen like theu spin faster, it's just that they have a smaller deck and a shittty folding mech. About the tailwhip, just practice rotating the deck with your wrists and just kick, spin the deck with your wrists, jump, and land. Good Luck

Thanks, I'll do that. And yeah I noticed how shitty the deck is on the A scooters, I regret buying it. Lol.

a lot of kids tend to focus more on kicking it than jumping. if you do a legitimate jump, not just some "kick-and-step-off-the-deck" homo thing, then I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to land back on the deck, and for the deck to spin around. Jump hard off the deck while simultaneously kicking the deck behind you, then wait for it to come around. practice. and yes, check the stickied threads before you make a thread, they can pretty much answer all of your questions.

I agree with this the thing that helped me land my dub whips flat was focusing on jumping and spinning with my hands rather then kicking out with my feet

focus on jumping and using your wrist for the most part. put your feet really close to the folding mech because you dont need to kick as hard to make the deck go around, once you get better you can move your feet back to normal.

In my opinion, it doesn't matter too much what scooter you use, as long as you hop, kick the tail, flick your wrists to speed up the deck spinning around, and land on the deck without your feet touching the floor. Obviously it helps if your deck is smaller but you can do it on any scooter with enough PRACTICE

Key Word: PRACTICE

Enough practice and you'll do great tailwhips no matter what scooter you ride.
