I was super excited about buying a 2010 tomos 150 scooter with only 450 miles on it for only $600! It looks practically new, aside from some rust on the pipe going to the muffler.
Took it for a test drive, wont go faster than 30mph! rpms wont go over 5k, redline is like 7k if i remember right, so it has plenty of room.
This is 150cc, it should be able to go much faster than 30mph!
They said its been sitting for a while, but they start it up almost weekly to keep it fresh. It started right up very easily.
The gas in the tank is one month old.
Any ideas what it could be? Is this a typical common problem?
