Two questions. Threaded compression and barends.

First.'how does threaded compression work? I see two locknuts and idk what to do with em. I tighten both the same way and my bars still rock a tiny bit. Then the locknuts loosen somehow and I get that bigger rock.

Next: how do I get barends in? I hammered em into my bars and they are stuck on the last two ridges on the plug. And hammering doesn't work anymore ahah

1. its basically 2 nuts - one is for the headset (normally with the topcap type thing on it and a bearing race on the bottom), the other is a normal nut to keep the headset nut in its place. you tighten the headset one first to however you like it, then tighten the 2nd locknut over that one really tightly, which will lock the headset and normal locknut in its place. it'll keep your headset nice and tight if you do it properly, but its best with 2 spanners.

2. have you legit tried hammering as hard as you can? they cant really not be hammered in anymore, just needs effort. but you should have cut off some of the thread on the barend so when you change your grips it wont be impossible to get the barends out.

Well the way to get barends out really easy is to drill a screw into em then use the back of a hammer to yank em out
