Didn't Diego Sanchez win? Was he the welterweight who was on the other guy's back for half the match? Yeah I watched it at this wings place by my house, it was pretty sweet. I'm trying to go to Las Vegas to see UFC 61 but I'm not sure if that's gonna work out haha.

The Gracie-Hughes match was pretty cool, that would have been reallllly ironic if Hughes had tapped Gracie out with an armbar, but I think it was a good fight.

My favorite fighter is the iceman, Chuck Lidell haha. I really don't watch it much but I'm gonna start watching it more.

Yea...it was obvious Hughes would win the fight...there was a lot of build up to this fight...with Gracie being such a Veteran of the sport, and Hughes being labled as the new generation of Fighters. Royce jes wasnt as well rounded as Matt, not many fighters are...Hughes is a great fighter, and will most likely hold that title for a while. He can make you tap, and his striking is also top notch..And Royce back fought back in the days of no weight limits and would sometimes fight guys that weighed twice as much as him, and still submit them...but in the UFC now, you got to be a well rounded fighter, and if your weaknesses are obvious, a Fighter like Hughes will put you away...it was a good fight tho...But i had my money on Hughes since the begining...Since quitting scooters, ive started to ponder getting back into MMA, (Mixed Martial Arts) when i was 16...and began riding seriously, i had to quit Kickboxing, cause my coach wouldnt teach me if i kept riding..so i quit..Now im thinking about getting back into it...id study Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, and work on Wrestling alot...but i dont know if i can dedicate 3-5 years of non stop training...atleast not right now, but fighting in the UFC has been a dream since i was about 13....and Fav Fighter(s), Shamrock, Hughes, Forrest Griffin, Stefan Bonnar, and Chuck Lidell.

Another thing it sounds like im to much of a pussy to do.How often would you need to train if you wanted to reach UFC standard

If i was to commit to training, it would be everyday for no less then 3 hours...Not to mention my diet would change, I couldnt touch a scooter for reason of breaking or injuring something, which would prevent training...and id train straight for close to 3 years or until whoever my coaches were thought i was ready...i would also fight in smaller circuits working my way up to eventually fighting in the UFC.....to Adam back to the Hughes fight, i take it you were a Gracie fan seeing as you said you were pissed...and im a Gracie fan to, but in all reality, Hughes is a better fighter...and by that i mean a better well rounded fighter he can get in the octagon with a striker, and out strike him, and he proved in the Gracie fight that he can get in with a Ju Jitsu master and still have the upper hand...but i was to shocked when Royce lost...very quick fight, but also a good fight...pretty amazing how Calm Royce was when Hughes had his arm literally bent backwards...that takes a lot of skill to stay as under control as Royce did in a situation like that...good fighter.

royce said that he had a few more fights in him, so i think he will work on his stand up and start kicking some major ass.
