Today I just got my new scooter which is a complete (in title). I was putting it together and had no trouble until I got to putting on the bars.The fork and the headset were fine and didn't wobble. then when I put the bars on they would not tighten. I tightened the clamp as much as I could and The bars just kept wobbling and slid right off the compression. any ideas on why this happens and how to fix it?

From what I've found by helping a kid at my local is that the stock lock-tight that (usually) comes with the clamp bolts doesn't do a super job at it's intended purpose. I dunno what compression the Evo has, but I assume it's IHC? Regardless, try greasing up the bolts in the clamp to get them more snug and hopefully get a better clamping.

If anything, maybe you're just not tightening the bolts down enough. Just don't strip them, though.
