like where should the welds be, when i completely cut off the old tube? or should i just cut the originla tube in half straight, and cut a part on the bike fork tube straight and just weld it in the middle??

can you weld a threaded pro fork tube on to a dethreaded sr fork if you cut the tube off of the sr fork and then weld the pro fork tube on?!?!?!?

Its not that easy. First you have to cut the threaded part off. Then you have to find a guy that welds. The guy has to weld the tube straight cause if its not straight it will not work.

There's nothing wrong with welding mild steel to chromo.

Most professional welders shouldn't have a problem, but it wouldn't hurt to tell them it HAS to be straight.

I have an old pair of Odyssey Classic Dirt laying around... But it'd be such a waste hahaha..
If my inwards ever snap, I'll probably use that.

haha ima just not say anything till asked. but when u get it welded. reinforece the tit's ouuta that lil nugguh. cause it will break. and also if your sr forks were thread before you can use a pro fork. but if there threadless you cant. cause it will not fit. also bike fork tubes are usually smaller. and you cant just weld it on and have it work.

i lied. i said something when i said i wasnt going to hahah XD

Dude you dont know what your talking about.

Do not weld a pro model fork tube on an SR fork period either its threadless or not.

Yes most bike forks will fit.

You have to get it welded like 3/4's down the forktube.
