What got u into scootering

:! well it all started off when i got my first scooter people at my school were saying u can bring yur scooter to skatel,sk8ing rink.
I went there with my friends and i was watching this kid doin tailwhips out of the kicker and i was lik wow dude that was sick.
that got me into scootering

when i got my first scooter (at the age of eleven), i started jumping and doing x-ups, x-up-rides no-footers, pogos, manualing (can't remember but i think i did it with one-foot-style), and easy stalls on curbs. Then i somehow broke one of my headset cup and never repaired it (until april 2005). There was a pause 2001-2004 and i wanted a scooter for my birthday (april 2004) because i didnt knew what would i really like to get for my birthday. Then i start scootering, jumping, doing tricks, then i found myself a friend who did 360s and he give me a link to sites (razorpros, old scooterresource). I got many ideas from these sites and from skatepark where i started riding. I started testing new tricks.

While i was at the park riding my BMX one day with me mates. I think i seen Corey Ryan busting Double whips and deck grabs. I was like wooooah that guys siiiiiick so i went home and got on my scooter.

on the first day i rode 1 i dud a fuf on a small quater and was like waoh. so started doin bmx and scooter(i take both to the park) and did that 4 a while.
then got good on 1 and liked it so just switched to skooters.

i always used to go to my cousins house and spend the whole time riding there aero scooters, did no footers and x ups and stuff, got my own scooter like a year later and saw kickboarderuk..haha

well i got suspened from school for like 3 weeks...so my mum got me a scooter to give me sumfink to do...and yer!!! thanx mum :)

i was riding around the neighborhood and then i just said...i'm gonna scooter. then i quit for awhile and got back into it last ummm february or march

Same here, but before I saw any videos and such it was all about dumb flatland tricks and bonelessing stair sets (too lazy to learn bunnyhops). Then started posting on SR (back when it was a PhpBB forum) and all I did was going to a skatepark and doing bunnyhops on a funbox... I tried tailwhips someday and got them. Finally got a b model for christmas and started riding park and street regularly.

me mike bowron and his brother josh bowron were bored so we tried some new "extreme sports" like heelys, flying turtles, and then scootering came in the picture and i got addicted. mike quit but josh has been riding for ages

when i wasl ike 11 or whenever that scooter craze was my friend went to new york and brought back 2 yaak scooters (i dont think they were the same company as yak but uh w/e) and we were outside and trying to do 180s and shit and then i got one for christmas like a year later

my friend bought a micro at walmart for like 80 bucks during the whole scooter really popular thing and we all HAD to have one so i saved up my money for like 2 months to buy my very first scooter.. a micro with clear wheels and black grips and whatnot.. i was hot shit with my bunnyhops and 90's.... those bastards who bmx'd for years borrowed my scooter and were throwing 180's.... what fags!! hmm then used it for transportation for like 2-3 years.. then last august and thought, hey you could get good on these... so i followed reeves and steves footsteps and practiced...my story... fun times eh
