What got you into scootering?

Rode with my friends, saw a razor vid, and then i looked up to them like everyone else.
then i started riding with more people (DXG) and they made me stick to it.
i still love riding because its the funnest thing ever, and i wanna see how far it can go.

here we go again.

fall/winter 2005, had a scooter, kinda did tricks, but not really. looked for scoot vids online and found basically nothing, but eventually found ryan whetstone's old site and found this. didn't really get into riding though.

it was early summer 06 when my friend got an electric razor scooter and it came with RVM2. we watched that vid so much, it was deff what really got me hooked. can't hardly remember it at all though haha. then i found SR and thats what reeled me in.

this has been a thread before, i know i've posted more in-depth answers.

i've rode then for a long time. but about a week ago, i decided to just like them for no reason, and went to youtube and watched some vids. and i used my Gf's and yeah., here i am. lol

i was on and off for a while. riding alot when my friend was around. then i got a different friend into riding and now that i have someone to ride with i'm getting a bit better and stuff

I used to be a hardcore skater kid that used to make fun of kids that scooter kids (they couldn't even tailwhip). I was on skateboard-city and someone posted some vid of scootering. It was fucking amazing. He did a front scooter flip flat and i yelled what the fuck. I'd never seen anything like the tricks he did before. I used to only think there were tailwhips and 360s. No idea who's vid it was but the song was time to waste by alkaline trio and if someone could tell me who's video it was i would be so happy. Anyways, fastforward about six months and i got sick of skating and some how ended up watching dan barretts micro sponsor vid. I was so amazed that i grabbed my old a and rode it everywhere until i could tailwhip. Now i'm a hardcore scooter addict of about 5-6 months.

When scooters first came out in 2000, i saw my neighbor doing no footers over drains and shit. i rode but i didn't think i'd ever be able to do a tailwhip, all i did was x ups and 1 handers, and i barely rode. then when SR showed up in 02ish(?) i joined that, saw some awesome videos. started talking to Ryan Whetstone, became pretty good friends with him, as well as martin kimbell. Then Ricky Wernicke sent me an IM (i was like ZOMG ITS RICKY WERNIKE) and told me to join the NBS forums. so i did, and he convinced me to actually try tailwhips and other tricks i thought were impossible. so i practiced for about 1-2 years, all in my driveway, on flat and kickers. then i released a really shitty video in 05 on the TPC forums and the new SR (my old account, natedawg15, was like the 30th member joined i think haha). Steven Tongson completely bashed that video, and made me work really hard to get better. 2 years later, I put out my mini 3 and everyone seemed to like it, now i'm working on my micro video. so yup. I've been around since the start, just never seriously rode until 03-04ish

Well watchin martin kimbell started it off in the 1st place then i got injured n quit 4 like 2 years but this year i came bak afta watchin how good tom n graham had got!!

Well I had bought an A model a long time ago, since then its been stolen, and it came with RVM1. I thought the riders were awesome but I never really thought about doing it myself. Then I was at my friends house like last summer and watched Martin's "heshouldntbepro" video or whatever. Then I really started riding
