sanded it fuckloads.
bars have slits.

its cause the bars use the wrong size tubing. They use .065" wall which does work right on threadless. They should have used .058" wall.

i was going yo use the hardline ics with welded starnut.
i can get the forks in the bars, but now i cant get them out FML.

with hic you still have to put the bars over something. if the bars aren't the right ID then scs is the way to go.

zane, brace the bars and slam downwards on the deck. like put the crossbars on a table and kick, or something. that's how i did it, haha. be sure not to bend the bars

i lengthened the slits.
dont worry guys, i broke the welded starnut and now my dads going down to his mates to see if he can get the fucking things off with an oxy.
wich is useless anyway because the starnut is fucking broken.
thanks a fucking lot. i just wasted $100 on bars that have compression but cant work on compression.
