What you like to see in a video part?

The easiest way to get coverage in our industry is by releasing video parts. Every riders does it, some have the gnarliest clips in the world but poorly filmed and some are the other way around. Josh Smukal's SR Exclusive dropped today and there were many unique elements to his part for example the still images and cruising B-Roll. Personally, I loved how unique it was. As a rider, filmer, and having a job in video productions I really enjoyed those pieces of his video along with the gnarly riding. What do you guys like to see in videos? Straight gnarly riding, unique editing, professional filming, 4:3, all fisheye, all long lens, etc? Share what you enjoy to see or what you would like to see more in scooter video parts.

So, I'm against low quality fisheyes; but i love long lenses.
and I'd like to see more creative riding (like Josh young; Jordan Jasa, J Smurkal; Tyler Wheeland & dylan casson just to name a few)
and less Brandon James "ride a likes"

I really dig creative clips at super unique spots (for example that thing in madis' new video where the guy jumps puts his feet against the two columns and does a 180 bri)
I usually like it when the editing is simple and clean although its also cool to see people doing different stuff.
I also like to see people running pegs to doing ridiculously precise shit like jesse ikedah

I love watching some super chill shit. Stuff like Kasson's Almanacs, Jasa's Fledits, and Sky High's Scrambles are really fun to watch. Watching riders we know can throw down super big bangers just hoping some sewer caps and whipping some curbs makes my heart warm up.

as little non-b roll filler as possible. what I mean by this is that your filler should be your b roll. lifestyle shots, celebrations, cruising etc. but it all should be edited as a separate clip. what i really don't like is long lapses around tricks in footy, like lots of run-up footy, lots of ride away, and then regular time clips of the rider hopping off their scooter and jumping around. The ethic videos do this right, as they all seem to try to maximize the amount of clips in the video by having as little non-riding time as possible, cutting away to the next clip almost immediately as the trick is landed. In some situations this doesn't need to happen, however, and the most notable example I can think of is stefan's front scooterflip over the bump to bar to civil rights fist in his source part.

b-roll footy is great though as long as it's well done (ie not smoking footy stahp it with the bong rip b rolls)

Personally I think raw Sd clips are rad. I dig the B rolls as long as its not like every second or third clip.
