It does make the headtube a bit steeper, mostly because it drops the front of the scooter lower just a tad. Also the headtube is cut straight whereas pro model headtubes are cut at a bit of an angle so it's not the best for your headset.

Would like to report that whoever thought of this is a genius. Just threw my whole old a front end on for the hell of it and the difference is amazing, very noticeable.Being taller, I'm loving the added head angle, it saves my knees.Most people say whips are harder with a steeper head angle but after about 5 mins of riding I now find them easier than ever. I can also catch my whips higher now for some reason, loving it. I was planning on getting a new deck but might just transfer my fsa headset and french id's onto this head tube for a while.
