cmopanies could easily fix the problem of strpping out clamps and shit by adding a CNC'd cutout the size and shape of a hex nut on the side of the clamp. then you could easily go to the hardware store and buy a new hex nut if one strips out.. it would the the ULTIMATE clamp.
i really wish some company out there would get this done.
*wasnt my idea by the way, it was from an old thread. i just want to see it get done*

It would be way more expensive to CNC out that little hex shape on every single one of the clamps/clamp holes. It simply wouldn't be worth it. If you grease and tighten your clamp evenly/properly it should work fine.

Addict is coming out with a new clamp and bolt system that supposed to prevent or eliminate stripping all together.

But wouldnt it be cheaper than Cnc-ing the threads INTO the clamp?

Me and Rob both mentioned this a while ago but I cant remember which thread. It would be an awesome idea, but it would be pretty expensive with the extra machining. The part should (theoretically) last you forever though.
