Would this welder work welding aluminum and chromoly. I dont know much about welding but I'm thinking about getting this welder to make one piece bars and weld more on my deck to make it stronger?

arc welding looks shitty unless your super pro (like years of experience).. so yes but you need to take welding classes. trust me its not that easy.

Stick sucks dick unless your welding trackho buckets and dump truck boxes lol. For scooter parts it will look horrible though.

TIGs are wayyy expensive but once you learn it it is one of the easiest ways to weld.

But you should try to get a wire feed and it will be easier to make pretty welds than the regular stick.

no arc wont work for aluminium

get a mig welder they are pretty cheap and you can still weld aluminium and chromoly

anyone remember the ad in transworld bmx that had a little girl stick welding in a bike frame sweatshop... yeah, this thread reminded me of that.

get a mig/tig welder. and buy american-made bike frames.
