omg. i cant believe how fast everything is growing. when i joined we had sr forks and eagle metal cores, buff bars and wee bars, and a few other random 1 piece bars. looking at the industry today is amazing. we are growing so fast. in the past year our sport has grown more then it has in the past 9 years. its pretty amazing when you think about it. alot of people are stepping up to the plate and making alot of sick parts. it almost seams as if people are in a hurry to make scooters grow. idk why im making this thread but yea, what do you think?

yeah but in reality were still a very small smort.
like really tiny dude.
there is 1 walk in store for scooters in the world that is ONLY scooters. and there is 1 bike/skate shop in most CITIES.
i do agree that its growing.
but its still tiny.
we think were way biggger.
i mean look at paintballing
it struggled to be on TV when MILLIONS play it.

lol jokes, yh you're right, i think 2009 is when it all changes,as it will be possible to easily have a 100% non-stock part scooter.

well in lords of dogtown its about when the skateboard first became popular and they had metal wheels but then a break through happened then came the urethane wheels and big step in the sport and they started having more and more contests and sponsorships and companies starting up just like our sport is doing. if not this year then sometime in the near future there are gonna be some HUGE changes to this sport

when i came onto the sport there weren't any sponsors or companies at all, just razor and micro. right now i could list probably at least 5 legit sponsors, so i think its finally growing, and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Yeah man i totally know what you mean. I was watching it a few weeks ago and its literally exactly the same. which is why its funny to me that skaters make fun of scootering. Clearly they dont know their roots because when skateboards first came out, they were just toys for little kids and people thought they looked ridiculous when they rode them. so there ya go, it is possible for scootering to become as big as skateboarding.

Yeah, I remember Micro came out and it was crazy, they had metal cores that were so strong, and Rad bars were the most dialed bars you could have (arguably still true).
