yak abec 7 bearings

ceramics are nice and fast, but if you ride agressively, I'd suggest some regular abec 5's, because the ceramics aren't meant for scooters where when you land, all the force is transferred to only 2 wheels, as opposed to 4 on a skateboard...

I actually read this in a moutainbike magazine, that ceramic bearings are "230% harder and 60% lighter than steel balls". They also have half the rolling resistance.

ceramics.
deffinantly.
and if you break them they have a 100% lifetime guarantee. so if you break them, theyll give you brand new ones.
except they only cost like $80 for a set...

That's sick, I didn't know that! But is it more worth it to get a shitload of good steel bearings or 1 set of ceramics? I mean, if you have only 1 or 2 scooters, than ceramics would work out nicely. But if you have more than 2 or 3 scooters, and you're a cheapass like me, then I think a bunch of abec 7's would be better...
