i have had 4 of my vids done for copyright by a third party do you reckon there is someone going around doing this claiming our videos for copyright? because its only scooter vids ive seen it done to!! if you have had you video copyrighted post here

My brothers video, in which he just filmed himself being bored and acting stupid, with a 50 cent tune in the background was copyrighted. This is bizarre, cause the video is so worthless I don't understand why would anyone watch that. Oh and the music wasn't in the tags or anything.

You can only legally play 30 seconds of a copyrighted music track without written permission. Hence the people claiming copyright violations are probably correct. Still it's a bummer.

I got myself banned.
They can match the audio file with a song by waveform and do like a massive search to see what videos have the song in it, so they take videos down with copyrighted music in groups by the song used.

Vimeo. Though I have videos with music from like drowning pool and stuff in them but they let me keep it up. I even used the whole "bodies" song in one video.

It's only the Warner Media Group (I think that's what it's called) so if the artist isn't on Warner than you're all clear.

yea a few of my videos have gotten fuckked. one i put up and not even 1 min later it was taken down. haha
