Steel Decks

I remember the days when i rode full stock scooters, stock wheels, steel deck and everything. I use to get a brick and slide it up and down on a curb for about an hour. Then i waxed it with candles. That to me was awesome, it was like one of the smoothest grinding things i could make. I used to grind that for ages.

Too bad, the steel decks have been replaced with thin aluminium. That grinds like a bastard, you can grind a concrete ledge for about half an hour and the deck is pretty much worn away.

I love steel decks, i wish they were still being made.

i have never seen a scooter before with a steel deck but i do agree that it slides much better then aluminum thats for shure.

Weighs just a few ounces more than an ultra.

blades, does it say deluxe steel on it, they are steel but have plastic deck plates, my friend snapped his deckplate when we were riding to the skatepark. so there was just 1 rod of metal he rode, good times, then i gave him my blade that is basically a replica of a old a or a madd gear

Yeah, that is the one. The deckplate is shitty but the deck itself is alright apart from the fact that i snapped the dropouts lol
