how the hell do they not have any foot root? i mean, if you rode 100% ski then i could see that but if you rode normal then there might be 1/2 inch less room for your foot than a regular deck haha

Unless you ride literally completely ski, this statement is absolutely false. standing at any sort of angle, you definately won't notice that they're angled.
Besides, they really aren't too angled at all, I know when i rode one i didn't notie that whatsoever. And the cut doesn't start until RIGHT before the brake, so you wouldn't feel it anyways.
