They're both just regular T bars, both will be about the same strength.
Get sky gussets if you are willing to pay a little extra.
if not it doesn't matter, i'd say go with retros though

I've had my "retros" for about 2 months now, and no complaints. Their pretty solid from my point of view so I would go with them.
