homemade bars

Hey guys im wanna make wider bars so i was just gonna get some metal and stick it through my T tube and stuff, i was what type of metal should i use? like would copper be good?

copper bends like a banana, get like steel, thick aluminum, or chromoly. anything strong and light will work.

i rode coppers for a while. bent them flat

how am i supposed to get the right size. i got some 1/2 inch and its too big and there is nothing like .45 inch lol. help?

take your t tube to the place and stick peices in it till u find the right one
