threadless forks without scs

im getting some threadless forks soon but i can't afford scs.

can i just clamp my bars right above the threadless headset and have it stay and be strong?

Silly woman, your fork will fall right out and you will die. You need something to keep the fork in place. Get this strange new invention called a "inverted compression system." It allows you to keep your fork in place by putting a bolt up your forktube and screwing it into a starnut in your bars. You should get that.

your fork won't fall out but i wouldnt advise it

if it wasnt good it wouldnt be one of the 3 compression systems used.

do you even acknowledge the fact that im posting literally every answer to every question that youve asked? everything you need to know is in those threads/ google.
