Defective Twizzler cyclone?

Well my hardcore friend Ryan killed a Cyclone.
He tore out a huge 1 inch chunk, crack two of the spokes going to the core (and melted them?!??!), completely snapped the last spoke, and bent the core.
I believe the core snapping was on a large 4 flat 4, and the rip just from riding.
Was this defective or just too sketchy/hardcore riding?

I couldnt care less if you didnt trust me. why would i lie about my friends wheel? hes just really outgoing, and he sheshes 6+ stairs on a regular basis.

I saw it happen in person and we messed with the wheel afterwards to see if we could realign the spokes.
