Wheel Recommendations

Hey, wusup yall.

I live in the Boston, and lately I have been doing a lot of city cruising to compensate for not having a skatepark nearby. Problem is that I am burning through wheels pretty quickly thanks to all uneven sidewalks and rough streets I am riding on. What are the best wheels (at a good price, I am on a college budget) for just hard riding, power-sliding on pavement and such?

Thanks so much.

If you want cheap metal cores that last, demon metal cores from titetoyz last pretty well. I've also heard good things about east2west.com's wheels I'm from Boston too and I ride proto sliders and they rock but they're expensive. so do twizzlers from titetoyz but they're not good for a tight budget.

Cheap plastic wheel - razor or yak low $5 each
Plastic wheel - Demon wheel $12.50 each
Cheap metalcore - Demon metalcores $25 each
Good quality metalcores - Proto slider, ProRide, or Twizzlers $35-$40 each

The only thing you have heard about east2west is that kid who keeps talking about them.
Demon and east2west wont be much different because there OEM.

east2west isnt oem

Why do you think they're so cheap?
Why do you think they're so hard and slippery?
Why do you think thee urethane goes like that? (referring to picture that that kid took of his)

I've had OEM wheels, a long time ago, so i know what they're like.
