Stick to one or the other. If your wallpaper has ivory in it, you should stick to ivory colored trim. By using bright white on your trim, it is going to make your wallpaper look dirty and dingy, which is not a good thing. If you really want bright white trim, your going to need to re-wallpaper to make it look good. Next time you wallpaper, you could choose a wallpaper with bright white in it, then you could change your trim color.
