learn to spell and search, i know for a fact that there is already a thread exactly like this.

anyways it is completely pointly as scs is designed as a threadless compression system so there is no reason you should be doing this anyways...

it does work on threaded forks, you have to install a starnut in them i think

i recall andrew saying something about how your not supposed to though because the scs isnt supposed to be clamped onto the threads, regardless why would anyone even want to do this anyways?

maybe he broke his threadless fork and thats all he has. if u really have to, cut a strip out of a soda can and put that around the threads

perhaps but if he broke threadless forks then i dont think threaded ones would last him very long anyways, i would say to just use a locknut and clamp instead of the scs but it that were actually the scenario then i guess his bars wouldnt have a slit. lets just wait and see...
