So i got a new deck with an integrated headtube, and i went out and got an odessey integrated headset like this : https://www.3ride.com/v2/detail/?itemID=6823
I have a Quebec scooters fork, and the problem is that the bottom integrated cup of the headtube might be too long, because the bottom bearings go too far into the headtube, and when everything is tighetened down, the top of the fork (the part right under the fork race) makes contact with the headtube. It doesnt spin for ----- and i cant fit a piece of paper between the fork and headtube. And i'm NOT overtightening it, by the time it binds, the headset still wobbles.
I want to go ride! Sorry if theres any threads on this, i figured its not a very common problem hahah

Not that many people have integrated headsets, But a few people might be able to help you, but if you want really fast help, go on a bike forum and ask, Or go to a bike shop.

hahaha i will get flamed soo bad if i tell people on bike forums i have a problem with my scoot. but the main problem is the top of the fork rubs on the bottom cup, do you think a spacer between the race and the fork will stop it?

ugh the spacer will make it rub more.

what deck u have, might be made badly, like my ambush was.

its a ZG spider, but the problem is with my fork i'm pretty sure. ...
and i mean putting a spacer under the fork race, which is the very bottom part of the headset. i dont think itll make it rub more, just make the top of the fork a little further away from the race, and that will make it further from the headtube.
idk if that will work of if it will just break...

Post a picture. I've seen something like this before but it was because the guy didn't put a crown race on his fork. You might be able to fix it by putting two crown races on the fork, but I want to see a picture before I suggest that. :)

K I'll get pics tomorrow, but how would you put two crown races on? Thees a notch at the bottom of the forktube for the race to be hit onto, if I put one ontop wouldn't it just wobble?

i actually fixed it, all it needed was a dremel. Grinded down the edges of the fork and it spins like butter.
