To be honest I think all scooter parts are ridiculously overpriced. I mean take bars for example, there is no way it costs anywhere near $70 to buy two bits of tubing and weld them together.

Exactly! 30 at most and another example is the proto scs...nearly 80$...

machining is actually really expensive, bars are less than $30 to make for the T shaped ones

Material wise, yes, less. But then you need the welder... ammo, (i forgot the word, been up far too long), shipping fees from the place you're buying from, and you need a wee bit of profit to continue making the parts or fund your team/movies/whatnot.
