Clampless Compression System

Renegade Scooters has designed a clampless compression system.

What does everyone think of the theory of having a clampless compression system on scooters?

As in integrated clamp on bars? which I doubt you mean. but I did see a kid with a fork and buff style bars and the fork went all the way up the bars and was tightened at the top.

Seems like and interesting idea but it's not easy to change an industry standard.

No, it is not an integrated clamp. It is completely clampless. I think it will definitely change the industry standard since it would be impossible to get your bars off center with this design. will post pictures of my prototype when completed and tested.

I'd like to see a basic design first because then I think I would be able to make good suggestions.

What you've said is hard to go off of though. Is it like a fork in bar idea or a scs that isnt a clamp? like you have to give us something.

Their is no bolt from the bottom like an ICS. The legs of the forks do not bolt on. This compression system requires you to use our fork and bars however unless other companies switch over and start producing the same system.

This sounds horrible. So you're saying to use this completely new system, we'll need to not only buy your compression, but we'll need to buy your bars as well, when theres other tried and true (and more than likely) cheaper alternatives, with more bar choices as well?
What is so bad about clamps anyway? aside from district clamps which strip faster than broke college chicks

I personally know the designer/owner of this company and none of you know what hes capable of doing, so just wait for the products to come out.

its not completely new, some guy did it a while back, I'm trying to find it in the your scooter thread. If its what I think it is, its basically a long ass forktube, and buffs that slide over it, and the steertube is the compressor. The buff bar/clamp/thing bolts into the steertube and through the fork.
Not entirely sure though

Eh, I think sticking to the current standards would be easier than whatever this idea is. But Im still interested in seeing what this is.
