Whats the point of plastic apart from being cheaper? Wouldn't grip as good either.

^ I'm not an advocate for it, but apparently it's so there is no top cap to "dig in" to the bars and make them weaker. Even though top caps are almost always aluminum which is a softer metal than steel or chromoly. But it is lighter.

Haha doesn't make much sense to blame at topcap, parts will always break.

i think jon is doing good for the scooter community, he makes scooters looks steezy. i think he should make a street edit cuz i wanna see some bangers

yeah its so theres no tomk effect(the topcap digging into the bars and yadyadayada you know the rest)

Yeah I don't see much of a benefit in it. A top cap digging into bars is like glass digging into diamond.

Okay maybe not that extreme but you get the point.
